Nexus Communications acquires Bugsgang & Associates

D5 Capital, corporate finance advisers to the creative services industry, have today completed the transfer of the business of Bugsgang & Associates, the leading travel & leisure public relations business, to Nexus Communications.

Bugsgang & Associates, which advises clients such as Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and Shearings Holidays, was originally part of Senior King, the advertising group. Following the acquisition of Senior King by Accord Holdings, it was felt appropriate that Bugsgang & Associates join a broadly based public relations business.

D5 Capital introduced Bugsgang & Associates to a range of potential partners. Founder and CEO Mike Bugsgang elected to join Nexus, owing to its broad array of PR services and growth prospects. The 6-man team has joined Nexus and is trading from Nexus' offices in West London.
